Patrick McKenna is a Dublin-based AI search and digital marketing specialist and the founder of Canvas Marketing Solutions. He helps businesses get found and cited by AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, as well as in traditional search.

Patrick spent years working on Google Ads contracts across the UK and Ireland. In 2019 he left that corporate career to work as an independent marketing consultant, including a stint as a freelance marketing manager for a London performance marketing firm. He went on to found Canvas Marketing Solutions in Dublin, which he runs with his partner Sarah.

Today his work centres on generative engine optimisation (GEO): making businesses clear, credible and easy for AI systems to recommend. He builds client websites in code, line by line, with AI-assisted development, so every page is structured for both people and machines.

Patrick is the author of The GEO Playbook: How to Earn Visibility in AI Answers, a free 23-tactic guide built around a practical, ethical and testable approach. He has also developed AI-powered marketing tools, including Janice AI for blog content generation and BacklinkProspector.AI for backlink outreach.

He works with businesses across Ireland, the UK and Australia, with particular expertise in the beauty and aesthetics sector.
