Press Releases & Media Coverage

Share a story worth publishing.

Canvas helps Irish businesses assess a story, prepare a clear press release and approach relevant media. Editors decide what is published; coverage is never guaranteed.

Story and newsworthiness review
Clear copy and relevant media targeting
A transparent outreach process
No promise of editorial coverage

Media coverage can provide useful third-party context for a business.

We help businesses assess whether a story is relevant to an audience and prepare it for an appropriate media approach. Editorial decisions remain with publishers.

Why Press Coverage Matters

The business value goes far beyond vanity metrics.

Authority

Media coverage builds trust faster than advertising.

SEO Backlinks

Press coverage often leads to high-authority backlinks that improve Google rankings.

Brand Awareness

Stories travel further than ads.

Social Proof

Being "featured in" publications improves conversion rates.

How Does PR Fit into AI Visibility?

Genuine news and independent coverage can help people and search systems evaluate your brand. Our free GEO Playbook explains how to combine credible proof, distribution and measurement—without treating press releases as a guarantee of AI citations.

Diane Burke

Diane heads up our Press Releases & Media Coverage service. She brings hands-on newsroom experience from Reach plc, where she established the nostalgia department for Belfast Live and Dublin Live from scratch. She holds a First Class Honours Master's in Journalism and Public Relations from Griffith College Dublin.

Diane works closely with Sarah Hamilton, our Creative Director, to craft compelling PR angles that editors actually want to publish. Together they combine editorial instinct with creative storytelling to get our clients featured in real publications, earning the kind of coverage that builds lasting authority and trust.

Sarah Hamilton

Sarah is our Creative Director and the other half of the PR equation. She turns raw business stories into creative angles that stand out in a crowded inbox. From brand messaging to visual identity, Sarah shapes the narrative so that when Diane pitches to journalists, the story is impossible to ignore.

Together, Diane and Sarah combine editorial instinct with creative strategy. Sarah identifies the emotional hook and crafts the positioning, while Diane writes it up and gets it in front of the right editors. It's a partnership that consistently gets our clients into real publications.
